Olympia Family Theater is gearing up for an exciting 2023-2024 season announcement on Monday, July 10 (hurrah!). OUR SEASON OPENER IS THE LIGHTNING THIEF: THE PERCY JACKSON MUSICAL!
In the meanwhile, we’re excited to “tease” our season by announcing that we will kick things off with The Lightning Thief: the Percy Jackson Musical running every weekend in October! This contemporary pop-rock musical has played from coast to coast and we are thrilled to be able to bring it right here to Olympia for the very first time. Based on the best-selling young adult book series, this musical tells the story of Percy Jackson: an every-day teenager except for the fact that he’s the son of Poseidon and has magical powers (that he can’t quite seem to control just yet). Follow along as Percy embarks on an epic quest, with monsters hot on his trail, to find Zeus’s lighting bolt and prevent a war between the Greek gods.

HOW TO ATTEND & TICKETING
OFT Season memberships will go on sale July 10 when we announce our season. This group of supporters get 1 ticket to each show in the season, free exchanges, an invitation to an annual family-friendly “Member Party”, access to first rehearsals for all Mainstage productions, and two flex tickets to bring guests to a show of your choice throughout the season. Membership costs $180.00 per person, which is just $15.00 per month and helps us have a steady flow of support through the season. Further details can be found on our website on July 10 when we announce our season.
Single tickets will go on sale Aug 28 so mark your calendars and don’t forget to snag a seat in the theater (we predict they’re going to go fast)! We’re thrilled to share that based on the success of the first full year of our ACCESS FOR ALL ticketing initiative last season we are continuing this work into 2023-2024. This means that all single tickets next season will be available on a sliding pay-what-you-can scale of $5-$35. Additionally, we will hold at least 10 tickets for FREE day-of walk-up tickets, available on a first-come, first-served basis..
