Tales Told in Ten!

Olympia Family Theater’s annual one act festival, Tales Told in Ten, is bursting to life again on April 13th and 14th. This will be their fifth year of the 24 hour festival that brings fast paced family friendly theater to their mainstage.

Tales begins with the chosen writers, directors, and actors meeting up at OFT at 6pm on April 12th for a meet and greet and to give the writers the prompt for the show. The actors and directors are released at 7pm and then the writers begin creating their ten minute shows. They write all night long (or however long it takes them to complete their script). The following day on April 13th, the actors and directors return to the theater to get their scripts and start blocking the show. They then perform that very night at 7pm! There is also a second performance at 3pm the next day, April 14th.

This festival is an amazing way to dip your toes into the world of theater without having to commit to months and months of rehearsals. Plus, at the end of it, six brand new one act plays have been created and released into the world!

Come and see the magic on April 13th and 14th at OFT!

Two shows only!
Sat, Apr 13th at 7pm or
Sun, Apr 14th at 3pm
