Open the doors to O YAA!

Olympia Family Theater is growing, and we need YOU!

We are expanding into the space next door – 614 E. 4th Avenue – to bring you the Olympia Youth Art Alliance (O YAA for short)! Our city needs more accessible spaces for artists to showcase themselves and their talents. O YAA will be a brand new multi-purpose venue for people of all ages to enjoy art, theater, and events! The space will be available for small performances (~ 60 seats), art shows, rehearsal & classroom space and much more. The possibilities are endless. We’re also excited to be partnering with String and Shadow Puppet Theater and others who will share studio and office space onsite!

To make O YAA possible we are raising $10,000 in grassroots donations. No donation is too small. If lots of people give a little together we can make a BIG impact. AND, in very exciting news, we received an anonymous $10,000 matching gift so every dollar you contribute will be DOUBLED!

Your gift will directly support new floor installation, lighting, sound-proofing and more. Community support will be crucial in creating this space for people of all ages to enjoy for years to come! Will you help us get O YAA up and running? The time is now!

If you’d like to find out more and tour the space – all supporters of this campaign are welcome to attend an Open House on Monday, November 28 from 5-7pm. Staff will be onsite to give you a tour and answer all your questions!
