Olympia Family Theater is proud to pilot a brand-new offering: All-Ages Poetry Nights hosted and curated by local artist Lennée Reid.
We are starting with 3 unique events – each evening will feature a talented poet from the South Sound, as well as open mic opportunities for others to share their words in a family-friendly environment.
Doors open at 6:00pm, Events start at 6:30pm.
Admission is $5 – $10 sliding scale per person. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Meet our fabulous host!
Lennée Reid is a Creole author, performance poet, artivist, healer, and community organizer based in Olympia, Washington. She commands a multidimensional sense of artistry across genres. Understanding and lifting diverse marginalized voices is her passion.
Lennée has been a poetry feature for crowds across America including many PSI Poetry Slams, marches, and vigils. She was Olympias 2018 Poetry Grand Slam Champion and The first WOWPS representative in 2015. She has opened for Pussy Riot, and is featured in Northwest Poetry Forum, the documentary “Artists Among Us” by the Olympia Film Collective, and “Dabbing With Washington Artists”.
