Melissa Sampson

Melissa Sampson (she/her) serves as the Development Manager at Olympia Family Theater, where she champions creative expression and community connections through diverse artistic mediums. Holding an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Melissa lends her expertise to the board of directors at a local diaper bank in Thurston County and the fundraising committee at a domestic violence shelter in Mason County. Her work aims to cultivate supportive, inclusive environments for all.

At the theater, she manages sponsorships, grant writing, and outreach, overseeing membership programs, fundraising events, digital content creation, and representing OFT in the community. Fueled by a passion for astrology and video storytelling, Melissa advocates for providing accessible avenues that empower individuals and families to explore their creativity freely. She believes wholeheartedly in the transformative impact of the arts, recognizing their ability to foster self-expression, cultivate appreciation for artistic pursuits, and enrich the human experience while also supporting mental health and well-being.
