Lennée Reid

Lennée Reid is a Creole author, multimedia artist, performance poet, activist, healer, crafter, organic gardener and community organizer based in Olympia, Washington. Intercultural art and lifting voices are her passions.

She is devoted to eclectic topics including diversity, inclusion, feminism, neurodivergency, environmentalism, and the arts. Lennée is a graduate of Capri College and a student of Reiki as well as many healing, performance, and meditative practices. She is a single mom to an awesome teenager, an adorable cattle dog, and gramma to said teenagers kitty.

Lennée is published in: “Inanna’s Ascent”, “Single Mothers Speak On Patriarchy”, and her chapbooks “Universal State of Mind” and “Qi Woo Mojo Juju”, all available at thegirlgod.com, in addition to Works In Progress, Confluence Daily, and Spectrum Women, among others.

Lennée has featured for crowds across America including many PSI Poetry Slams, marches, and vigils. She was Olympias 2018 Poetry Grand Slam Champion and The first WOWPS representative in 2015. 

She has opened for Pussy Riot, and is featured in Northwest Poetry Forum, the documentary “Artists Among Us” by the Olympia Film Collective, and “Dabbing With Washington Artists”. She has a cameo in the “Gimme The Juice” music video by Yak Nasty That Nilla filmed in 2021 to be released soon.

 Lennée has produced Awareni Culture Gathering, Olympia Witches March, Resonate Resolve, and Cascadia Poetry Group. She presented at Puget Sound Pagan Pride, GlowHenge – as featured on Evening Magazine, and was included in “Arising”, an installation by Yoko Ono.
