Setting the Scene

In this exciting class, young theater enthusiasts will explore the art of designing and creating set pieces and small scale murals that bring stories to life on stage! Over the course of 8 weeks, students will use their imagination and hands-on skills to transform simple ideas into vibrant, larger-than-life elements for a play or performance. From painting backdrops to crafting props, students will learn how to use everyday items and materials in clever, unexpected ways! Think of it as a treasure hunt where ordinary things become extraordinary. Whether you’re an aspiring artist, a theater lover, or someone who loves a good creative challenge, this class will give you the tools to “set the scene” for unforgettable performances!

Tuition: $150 – $300
