Access for All Pricing

While our tuition base rates have gone up to better support our staff and operational costs, our ACCESS FOR ALL program continues so that finances are never a barrier for anyone’s participation in our programing. Enrollment tuition and tickets are sliding scale. We just raised the top of the scale for those who are comfortably able to support our work at that level. Otherwise, you can still pay the old rate or a rate of your choosing. Those who do pay higher tuition help fund all those that cannot in a true community fashion.

If you find that paying any tuition is not possible for your family, reach out to our Education Director here, and we will help!

Forms, details, & fine print:

Photo Policy:
Olympia Family Theater has permission to utilize all registered students’ image in any live or recorded audio, video or photographic display made of, or at, the class, camp, or workshop in any medium or content for any purposes, including marketing or promotional purposes, without further authorization or compensation. All student names will remain confidential. We will not tag or identify students in any social media posts we make.

Registration Deadlines:
You may register up to the start of class provided there are still spaces available.

Cancellation Policy:
If registration is cancelled after it has been processed, but at least two weeks prior to the class/camp start date, a full refund (minus the $25 registration fee) will be given.

If you are requesting to transfer your child’s enrollment to a different class, camp, or workshop at any time, the original registration fee does not transfer and must be paid again to secure your child’s spot.

If registration is cancelled after it has been processed, but is within two weeks of the class/camp start date, a refund of 50% will be given (minus the $25 registration fee)

We strive to make sure all students are satisfied with their experience, but if after completing the first day of class and decide it’s not for you, please let us know before the start of the second class and we will work with families on a case by case basis. After the second day of class, no tuition or enrollment adjustments can be made.

No refunds or make-up classes will be provided for classes cancelled due to inclement weather.

OFT reserves the right to cancel any classes, camps, or workshops. In that case, any tuition and registration fees will be refunded in full.

We believe access to art is a human right and no student will be turned away due to financial barriers.

Olympia Family Theater provides classes for students Kindergarten through 12th grade, and adults. These classes are focused on building theater skills, ensemble and collaboration, and storytelling. Classes culminate in an end of programming showcase for family and friends, but are not full productions with costumes, props, or other tech elements.

FOUNDATIONS classes are structured for our 3rd-5th grade students to enhance their on-stage skills, explore how to create characters and stories, and work with an ensemble.

SPOTLIGHT classes are designed for our 6th-8th grade students. In these classes students will work with published material, devise their own work, and work in a variety of peer group sizes.

OFTeen classes are meant for our 9th-12th grade students who are ready to deep dive into specific theater skills, challenge themselves, and work with elevated material.

OFT strives to create a brave space for young people to use theater as a community-building tool. Our educational programs facilitate the process of young artists finding, developing and using their unique voices and perspectives.

Using theater, we teach critical life skills such as communication, collaboration, and empathy. Our goal is to facilitate both the individual development and collective growth of all young artists who enter our space.
