HONK! The Musical
November 29 - December 22, 2024
Music by George Stiles
Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother’s protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out that being different is not a bad thing to be. Experience this joyful musical celebrating the beauty of diversity and the power of inclusivity.

That is why we save 10 tickets for walk up purchase at the box office starting one hour before each performance. These tickets can be purchased at any price that fits your budget, including free.

We are monitoring the guidance of the Thurston County Department of Public Health and Social Services, the Washington State Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and we ask that you do the same. As new information comes in from them, we will be updating the impact to our programs and productions.
Finally, we know that the choice to be vaccinated is complicated and multifaceted. We encourage everyone to demonstrate compassion and actively help to combat incidents of bias or social stigma.
Generally power does not go out in downtown Olympia. If our actors and technicians can make it to the theater, we’re doing the show. If things get really bad and we simply can’t stage the performance, we will notify ticket holders as soon as we possibly can and do everything possible to transfer tickets to a later date. If there are no tickets left for that particular production, ticket holders will receive vouchers for tickets to any other Olympia Family Theater production.
