Folk Songwriting for Change

This camp is all about exploring how folk music has been used as a powerful tool for social change throughout U.S. history. You’ll dive into the songs that sparked movements, from civil rights to labor rights, and learn how these artists used their voices to challenge injustice and inspire action. Through songwriting workshops, performance exercises, and group collaboration, you’ll create your own folk songs that tell stories of today’s world. Whether you’re a musician, lyricist, or storyteller, this camp will empower you to find your voice and make a difference through the timeless art of folk music.

Tuition: $150 – $300
