Synopsis: Ruby and her big brother Jake are terribly bored while their harried mum tries to take a five-minute break. When Jake’s friend Tom arrives, Ruby wants to play with them and when they won’t let her she hides in a box and disappears into a world of make-believe. Tom and Jake search for Ruby, who is now in disguise, while their mum appears as a fairy godmother (who isn’t very helpful), the big bad wolf, a giant, a witch and a charming prince. Sibling rivalry is unraveled in this comic confusion of fairy tale situations.
“A charming adventure into the imaginative world of children.” -Oxford Times, UK
*Nominated for the 2008 Writers Guild of Great Britain Award*
