Alexa Ryle

Alexa Ryle has participated on and off stage since Olympia Family Theater’s very first production, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland in 2006. She played Ditzy Daisy and also Stage Managed for that show at the Midnight Sun. She was 15 years old. For her high school senior project, she designed, hung, programmed and ran the lights for the production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever in 2009. Alexa graduated from The Evergreen State College in 2016 where she studied food, sustainable agriculture, social justice, and feminist studies, always dabbling in the arts such as dance and pottery. She has assisted in camps and workshops at OFT, worked backstage and stage-managed numerous shows over the years. Her last time in front of the curtain was as one of the step sister’s in the first production of Cinder Edna in 2013. Currently, Alexa works at Capital High School as a para-educator for the ROOT’s farm program, where she is helping build the curriculum and a new farm on the high school campus!

Alexa is so excited to create a fun tech camp experience for her first season leading summer camps with OFT. Let’s make some magic!
