As we head into our 9th season, who could have predicted this would be the year that we perform in our own dedicated theater? As of Sept 1st Olympia Family Theater will be located at 612 4th Ave E, in the Swantown Building, across the street from Olympia City Hall. This means all of our activities will take place under one roof: our full season of shows, our Playspace for camps & daytimes shows, our office, our workshop, and our costume, set & prop storage. This is the ideal time to begin your sponsorship, as we grow into our new space!

This is an incredible time!

Your financial support helps OFT fulfill our mission of making theater accessible. With that support, we:

  • Reach over 5,000 kids with our monthly Daytime Shows and School Tours all over Western Washington
  • Keep ticket prices affordable
  • Hold Thrifty Thursdays– a.k.a. “Pay What You Can” nights for each show
  • Give away over 250 complimentary tickets each year to local social service organizations in the area
  • Provide scholarships for all of our educational programs, for kids who might not otherwise be able to participate in our week-long theater camps or youth productions
  • Had over 4,400 individuals attend our Mainstage shows last season and 3⁄4 of that audience was adults
