There are lots of ways to Help O.F.T.
There is so much more to running a theater than simply acting. We need ushers, people to help paint sets, put up posters, label postcards, update our database, as well as all sorts of technical people to make each of our shows magical. You can also; help us round up sponsors, fundraise, or help us apply for grants, track down useful office equiment or raffle basket donations- the sky’s the limit. If you’re interested in helping out OFT, give us a call-360-570-1638, or by e-mail, contact OFT’s volunteer coordinator.
If you’d like to usher-
The Washington Center conducts usher training classes throughout the season. You must be 18 or older to be an usher. Once you are trained you can sign up to usher at all events at the Center! Trainings are at 6:30pm and are held one Wednesday in most months (except around the winter holidays). Here are the upcoming training dates:
